The Tiger Shark is one of the largest predatory sharks after the Great White measuring about 5 meters. It is called “tiger” shark due to the dark stripes on his body (mostly on juveniles) which resemble with the wild animal. The Tiger Shark lives in tropical and sub-tropical waters all over the world and has the reputation of eating everything. It is the only species in its family that is ovoviviparous – the eggs are hatched internally and the young are born live when they are fully developed.
