There are five different species of Flying Snakes. They live mostly in the forests of South Asia but can be found also in western India or the Indonesian archipelago. The Flying Snake can reach a length up to 1.2 meters. When they want to “fly” they flatten their body and form an U-shaped cylinder holding the tail stiffed upwards and twisting it from side to side for balance.
