The Adélie Penguin lives on the Antarctic coast and together with the Emperor Penguin is one of the most southern seabirds. It weights 4-5.5 kg and it measures about 70 cm. The Adélie Penguin is a very good swimmer it can swim about 300 kilometers searching for food. What distinguish the Adélie Penguin from other species of penguins is the white ring around the eyes and the fact that it is smaller than other penguins.
