The Spectacled Bear lives in the jungles of South America and is the only bear on this continent. The color of its fur can be brown, black or reddish with yellow circles around the eyes which are similar with eyeglasses, hence the name. The diet of the spectacled bear is mainly vegetarian : fruits, honey, berries,orchid bulbs, cactus, but also rodents, rabbits or arthropods. The African Leopard is a medium-sized cat with a fur color from pale yellow to gray. It lives in sub-Saharan Africa. and it can easily be confused with the Jaguar, but the leopard is smaller and the spots on the leopard are rounder, smaller rosettes and don’t have central spots as the jaguar. The African Leopard has a head and body length between 1.25 and 1.65 meters, while the tail measures between 60 to 110 cm. The male leopard weighs from 30 up to 91 kg, while the female 23 to 60 kg. The Killer Whale also known as Orca lives in all the oceans. The diet of an Orca consists in fish, marine mammals and sometimes even other whales. The Killer Whale is white on the chest and on the sides, black on the back and it also has a white patch surrounding the eyes. The White Lion can be found in the Timbavati region in South Africa and is not a different specie of lions, but it ha a genetic disease called leucism which is caused by a recessive gene – the chutiya or color inhibitor gene. Currently, it is assumed that there are only 300 White Lions left world-wide. The Przewalski’s Horse is the only remaining specie of wild horses and can be found in Mongolia and China. Its muscular body is smaller than the one of the domesticated species of horses measuring 122 to 142 cm height and 2.1 m length. Przewalski’s Horse is herbivore, it eats grasses and different vegetation on the steppe. Currently Przewalski’s Horse is an endangered specie; there are only 250 horses living in the wild.
