The Starfish or the Sea Star is a marine animal which lives in all the world’s oceans reaching depth of over 6000 m. There are 2000 species of starfishes, most of them have 5 arms but there are also sea stars with 10, 20 or even 40 arms. A Starfish measures between 12 and 24 cm and can weigh up to 5 kg.
