The Sri Lankan Elephant is the largest specie of Asian Elephants but smaller than the African Elephant. Sri Lankan Elephant is an herbivore and it feeds on leaves, grasses, fallen fruits, bark or coconut leaf. The big ones need about 200 kilo of food per day.
