This is the largest species of crocodile with a body length that can exceed 20 feet. The saltwater crocodile is a confirmed eater of people and consists of approximately one ton (1000 kilograms) of pure muscle. In the water, it is capable of swimming as well as a dolphin and is the only one of all existing crocodilians able to live in both salt water of the oceans and fresh waters. When it hunts is lurking under the water up to the eyes and nostrils, then rushes on the victim, turn it and shaking it; to break the flesh into pieces and to tear it out on the bones is using its approximately 60 sharp teeth. The crocodiles cannot chew their food, but they swallow it completely.
